Blog is a great way to promote yourself!

I`m sorry for not writing for a couple of weeks but I got a new job. I started writing about investing for a Polish company. I wouldn`t have received that offer if I hadn`t set up my Polish blog.
In this way I make some extra income. It`s nothing big but I do what I like and get money for that. It`s really nice.
I was offered another job and at last I could afford not to take it.
So, writing a blog could create very nice opportunities unavailable for people outside blogosphere.
Everybody should try it.
Alternative streams of income are something I love. Of course, ideally they should be passive but I don`t complain.
So get down to work !

Does Google discriminate Africa?

While watching the Olympic Games in Beijing, I noticed a funny thing.
Just look at the pictures and compare them.
If you don`t know what the Olympic rings represent, let me remind you.
The blue one stands for Europe, the black one for Africa, the red one for Americas, the yellow one for Asia and the green one for Australia and Oceania.





Then, when you look at Google`s trademark, there are all the colours but one.
No black. Does it mean they discrimnate Africa?

Solar eclipse today

There will be a total solar eclipse today. I`m not any astrological expert but I believe that it may have some psychological impact on people.
Financial markets are much influenced by psychology.
I wonder if it will be any turning point in stock markets.
If today markets start to slide again, I`ll buy some funny gadgets and start career as an astrologer.

Anyway, I`m out of stocks and a little on a short position.
Fortunately, in Poland nobody thinks of restrictions against short sell.
Why?
It doesn`t exist:)
However, I can use futures contracts.
Be careful in coming days. I suspect the correction movement up the hill might be a trap and now it`s full of bulls.
