Portfolio update

As you can see on the left, in the menu, my portfolio is growing all the time.
This year is quite difficult for equities so my goal is to reach $10,000.
I pay myself first every single week and add up little by little.

If you start from the scratch, it`s more important to be consistent and disciplined than a good trader.

The rate of return will be vital after gathering at least $20k.

The title of my blog is a bit misleading.

My idea of getting rich demands a lot of patience.

All the time I check the risk and this year most of investments have been quite poor.

I`ve made money betting on bear market and trading silver coins.
Stocks have been disappointing.

Now I`m looking for new opportunities but I always remember to save money.

Good luck.

Time for Forex

As you can see, stocks are not the best choice now.
Maybe selling short or using derivatives could be a great idea.
However, I don`t like market volatility now.
It would be difficult to keep your position.
Maybe options are some solution.

However, I think I should turn to Forex and try some arbitrage strategies.

I`m a freshman here, so I would start with a small amount of money to test.

I`m not interested in trading or speculation very much.

Swaps are my hot topic.

It looks great to open long AUD/JPY and take advantage of difference in interest rates collecting swap points. Of course, I would open short at some broker who doesn`t deduct swaps.

I`m not sure how it will work in practice, but this is the area I`m keen on digging in.
